Role Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager within our High Frequency Sensing team in Edinburgh Parks, SA. In this role, you’ll lead the implementation of quality systems across complex defence programs, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and excellence in delivery. You’ll inspire and develop a team of Quality Engineers, fostering collaboration and high performance through a strategic mindset paired with strong operational execution.

Core Duties:

  • Lead the deployment and execution of Quality Management Systems across multiple programs and business lines
  • Manage and mentor a team of Program Quality Engineers, ensuring delivery of assurance and compliance activities
  • Oversee risk, audit, and non-conformance management, ensuring alignment with ISO9001, AS9100, and defence standards
  • Partner with Program Managers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and quality strategy
  • Ensure product and service validation meets regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements
  • Represent the business in quality reviews with customers, regulators, and third-party auditors
  • Collaborate across the global business to share and receive best practice from other Manufacturing Operations groups, particularly Naval Ships and Air
  • Build strong engaging relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining/fostering a positive culture and a culture of ownership and collaboration

About You

  • Proven experience in quality or technical management, with strong people leadership skills
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and Regulatory Frameworks.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lateral thinker and collaborative leader with a focus on continuous improvement and service-led delivery
  • Tertiary qualification preferred and certification in a quality-related field is essential
