Job Title: Stakeholder and Communications Advisor (Edgewing)

Location: Reading area – You will need to on site 5 days per week in the embedding period of this role.

The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems Air site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £46,078+ (DOE)

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will support the Stakeholder & Communications Manager by helping identify, evaluate and engage the key stakeholders shaping the programme’s direction. You will build informed relationships across the stakeholder community, ensuring expectations are understood and aligned.

You will create tailored engagements and communications that support programme progress and visibility, while promoting clarity and consistency in line with the communication strategy. Throughout each phase, you will provide accessible insights and predictive analytics that help stakeholders understand upcoming activity and its impact, contributing to smooth collaboration and comfortable, well‑supported programme delivery.

Core duties:

• You’re capable handling negotiation and resolving differences in a calm, solutions‑focused way that supports programme progress
• You will be skilled in working with varied stakeholders, building alignment and shared understanding across diverse perspectives while communicating clearly throughout
• You’re proficient using Office tools and digital solutions to plan, deliver and track communication activity effectively in support of programme needs
• You have experience working within a project‑focused environment, contributing to structured delivery, clear documentation and programme visibility
• You will be able to gather insights that inform engagement planning and help stakeholders stay aligned on programme direction
