Salary: Circa £60,000

Job Description:

This role provides solution architecture capability within the CC, including the design of solutions and effort estimation across assigned business areas. It is critical to ensuring alignment with IM&T delivery frameworks and maintaining high standards in solution delivery.

Core duties:

• Design and deliver scalable IT solutions aligned to business strategy and objectives
• Lead end-to-end solution delivery across the full project and systems lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership across system development, integration, and complex change initiatives
• Ensure solutions meet organisational standards for security, data governance, and architecture best practice
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and operational challenges while influencing key stakeholders

Essential Skills:

• Technical expertise across systems architecture, development, integration, and IT operations
• Experience designing solutions aligned to business needs and enterprise architecture principles
• Ability to lead technical delivery and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or similar) and IT best practices
• Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making

The team:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to design, deliver and support technology solutions that enable the business to achieve its strategic and operational goals. This role plays a key part in shaping IT strategy, leading solution design, and ensuring successful delivery across the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with business stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to develop effective, scalable solutions, while providing guidance on best practices, governance and information management.
