Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst

Job Location: Preston or Frimley – Hybrid – 1 x quarter onsite . We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £40,000 + depending on experience

Role Description:

Acting as the interface with business stakeholders to investigate business situations, gather information, identify and evaluate options for improvements to processes and workflows on the ServiceNow platform and articulate these requirements to the ServiceNow Product team for development and implementation. Appropriately applying techniques to manage and support implementation of effective solutions in ServiceNow to business issues through requirements analysis, documenting processes and performing some user acceptance testing. Operating with analytical ways of thinking and able to explain difficult technical concepts to non-technical users.

Core Duties:

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements to deliver value on the ServiceNow platform, managing these requirements through the entire delivery and operational life cycle
  • Clearly define, document and articulate complex business requirements from stakeholders to development teams for clear delivery and implementation
  • Validating systems, products, business processes or services to determine whether the acceptance criteria have been fully defined
  • Working with stakeholders, investigating business situations to define recommendations for improvement action
  • Developing models and diagrams to represent and communicate data requirements and data assets

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of working in an IT Business Analysis environment
  • Good working knowledge of Agile Business Analysis methodologies
  • Experience working with some, if not all, of the Business Analysis discipline skillsets in both a Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • Some experience managing multiple cross functional stakeholders with competing needs
  • Experience translating complex business requirements to non technical stakeholders
