Job Description

Job Title: Senior Quality Manager – Programme Integration

Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Fulltime onsite)

Salary: Starting from £60,500+ car allowance on top

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for being the single point of truth of programme performance and compliance for Quality

  • Leading the performance narrative and improvement agenda

  • Ensuring that the Quality requirements for relevant products and programmes are addressed and are being met effectively

  • Overseeing the governance and assurance of Quality performance across the Business Unit

  • Ensuring compliance of internal and customer Quality requirements

  • Taking ownership of Quality Strategic objectives within the programmes to ensure consistent alignment and credibility

  • Leading and supporting the development of your team

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Experience leading, influencing and motivating the Quality agenda at business level

  • Extensive knowledge of quality engineering practices

  • Ability to interpret and challenge specifications, procedures and contracts requirements

  • Experience leading complex Quality investigations

Desirable:

  • Submarine programme quality management knowledge

The Quality Engineering and Programme Integration Team:

You’ll be joining a multi-programme team focused on a data-driven approach to improving business performance by preventing defects, accelerating schedule adherence and reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). This is a diverse role where you’ll make a real impact working across all the programmes to ensure quality performance improvement is driven and product compliance is achieved. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
