Job Description
Job Title: Senior Quality Process Engineer
Location: Barrow-In-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £34,012 – depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating process documentation relative to engineering capability in a timely manner
- Engaging stakeholders for existing documentation review cycles and ensure approved documentation is published and deployed appropriately
- Addressing process improvement requests ensuring processes are updated appropriately
- Engaging effectively with internal and external customers/stakeholders including engineering process/governance owners and respective SME’s
- Building an environment that encourages process improvement activities through adopting continuous improvement approach to process development
- Facilitating process development activities and process mapping workshops
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Experience working within process driven environment
Desirable
- Engineering/Quality Background
- Knowledge of the Business Management System
- Knowledge of Engineering or Submarines business processes
- Auditing knowledge

The Process Governance Team:
As a part of The Process Governance Team, you will be responsible for managing the process documentation for Engineering. We oversee the creation and development of new processes across all programmes and ensure the reviews of existing processes are conducted in line with the required standards, ensuring compliance through process confirmations. Additionally we facilitate process improvement requests, engaging relevant stakeholders and communicating any process related updates to the relevant engineering contacts for deployment to all users.
