Salary: £51,772+ depending on experience

Job Description:

As a Senior Early Careers Engineer, you will be supporting all careers within air, including placements for graduates. You will have the opportunity to liaise with various areas of the business, managing attrition of staff through the early career’s programmes.

Core duties:

• Supporting the EC Lead in delivering EC activities and programmes
• Delivery of delegated Engineering EC programme and allocated improvement activities
• Management of multiple cross discipline and cross functional stakeholders to ensure programmes are delivered to required levels and governance
• Understanding and sharing best practice across all functions to optimise EC experience
• Influencing outside of direct hierarchy as an SME in the EC Engineering area (HEC/CEM/etc.)

Essential Skills:

• HNC or equivalent professional qualification (in a STEM or Educational domain)
• Proficient in data management and manipulation
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a positive view on building an effective work culture and effective communications and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a changing environment with enthusiasm & willingness to challenge established processes and mindsets

Air Engineering Early Careers Team

The area is responsible for the engineering functional schemes for Engineering Graduates, Undergraduates, Apprentices and improvements to the Engineering early careers experience.

Your role will provide exposure to the wider Engineering Function and lines of business as well as the various early careers schemes across many sites in the UK.
