Job Description:

The role operates at an Air Sector level, providing valuable insight across all aspects of the sector—from strategy and underlying assumptions through to planning and delivery.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the sector, including Lines of Business, functional teams, and transformation initiatives, and will be responsible for presenting data and insights to senior leadership within the sector.

The role also involves collaboration with Group teams, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and the adoption of best practices.

Core duties:

  • Will play a key role in leading and integrating the Resource planning process for the Air Sector, in accordance with the Air S&OP framework.
  • The role will have responsibility for Demand & Capacity Management across the enterprise and will help facilitate strategic and priority sales and ops decisions to be made at IOM Director level Executive/Air Board level
  • The role will work with the Lines of Business and Functional Planning team to monitor and enact these decisions and strategies.
  • The role will have to work across a number of stakeholders within the Air Sector (Enterprise, Lines of Business, Operational SDUs and the Air Functions) and will be the key interface to ensuring the processes between Air Strategy, Line of Business and Operations Capacity is a closed loop system.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient Data Analytics – Leading data analysis activities to support making informed decisions, identify trends and measure process effectiveness.
  • Previous knowledge of Demand/Supply planning processes
  • Collaboration and influencing Skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business operations methodologies, processes, toolsets and governance
  • Experience of leadership, management and communication skills with both in person and virtual teams

The Air Sector Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team:

The Air Sector S&OP team plays a key role in facilitating and integrating the S&OP process for the Air Sector, focused on enabling the sector to plan and deliver its challenging business plan. The role will work closely with all areas of the Air sector, across the UK and internationally.
