Job Description
Job Title: Risk Lead- Qatar
Location: Qatar
Salary: 170,000 QAR depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Create, develop, implement, and maintain the Risk Management Plan, Opportunities Management Plan, and Issues Management Plan.
- Implement risk management procedures and utilise the risk toolset across assigned programme areas — typically providing direct support to multiple CAMs or a defined major work area within the programme (e.g. Delivery Directorate).
- Act as lead user for the Predict! toolset, managing Predict! dashboards for the Qatar Programme and supporting projects.
- Monitor and report progress on a regular (minimum monthly) basis, in line with programme and project reporting requirements.
- Audit and assess the quality, application, and effectiveness of risk management processes within assigned areas.
- Provide assurance and insight on risk management activities to the Project Manager (Risk) and wider Programme/Project Management teams
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Risk Management policies, tools techniques, practices, processes, procedures and systems.
- Comprehensive Risk Management experience demonstrated in a professional capacity and the specialist skills to ensure procedures are followed with the ability to define the standards which the others will operate. Guides others in application of Risk Management processes.
- Good analytical skill set with proven ability to integrate, interpret and articulate risk information within own project area
- Experience within Oil & Gas or Defence or Energy or Construction or equivalent industries
- APM PMQ, Prince2 or other Project Management related qualification
Desirable:
- Previous experience of the Predict! toolset
- Previous experience of working with international partners
