Airbus Defense and Space Saudi Arabia is looking for a Risk and Opportunity Manager to join our team. We create innovative, effective space and defense solutions and services for our customers, driving our industry forward. We focus on the people we work with and for.

* Responsibility:

The nominated Risk and Opportunity Manager is responsible to manage risk and opportunities which are relevant to the accountable Manager’s business.

It shall cover the whole context, at least the business with its operational work and executed processes.

* Duties of a Risk and Opportunity Manager:

A Risk and Opportunity Manager shall act in the spirit of the Airbus Group Policy CDS-009 'Enterprise Risk Management' and perform the following activities:

- Establish the context and prepare the ROM (Risk and Opportunity Management) plan,

- Schedule, initiate, manage with ROM stakeholders and execute ROM process activities (according to Figure 1),

- Clarify accountabilities [especially: R/O (Risks and Opportunities) owner, R/O response action owner],

- Promote an anticipation and ROM-oriented mind-set,

- Special focus: Close follow-up of successful execution of risk treatment actions.

- Act as the primary point of contact for legal entity risks in KSA and prepare risk reports for all legal entities in KSA. This will involve liaising with various stakeholders, including a clearing meeting with the Managing Directors (MDs) and Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) of the legal entities.

- Manage and coordinate any ad hoc finance-related tasks including audits (internal or external).

- Work with the Internal Controls team to ensure robust controls are in place to mitigate financial risks.

* Provide assurance /advise to management regarding the achievement of:

- Reliability of financial reporting;

- Airbus Group/Div.’ capabilities to identify, assess, respond to, take control actions and monitor risks & opportunities on a timely basis throughout the Group, consistent with Airbus Group /Div objectives;

- ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) system design and operational effectiveness;

-Transparency and quality of risk & opportunity monitoring and reporting;

- Ensures compliance with risk & opportunity rules, regulations and procedures;

- Implements and operates the risk & opportunity management strategy.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
