Job Title: Risk Analyst (Supply Chain)

Location: Frimley, Portsmouth, Preston, Warton, Glasgow or Barrow-In Furness with occasional travel. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £55,700 + depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyse and identify supply chain risks and recurring risk themes
  • Support the development and implementation of effective supply chain risk processes
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of supply chain risk activities across the business
  • Prepare risk reports to support informed management decision-making
  • Improve and apply digital tools, processes, and collaboration techniques to identify, assess, and manage supply chain risks
  • Develop a solid understanding of enterprise risk management and how it connects with supply chain activities
  • Organise supply chain risk workshops and engagement sessions, and document key outcomes
  • Represent the Head of Supply Chain Risk Strategy in meetings and wider business engagements

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Solid understanding of risk management principles
  • Proven ability to work in a data-driven environment, leveraging data to identify trends, assess risks, and inform decisions
  • Experience producing clear, concise risk reports to support strategic decision-making

Desirable

  • Experience in supply chain operations with an understanding of key processes and risk factors

The Procurement Team:

This role is a key part of the procurement function, reporting to the Group Head of Supply Chain Risk Strategy. The team is focused on developing a unified approach to managing supply chain risk, streamlining processes and ensuring consistency across the business. While a supply chain background is not required, an analytical mindset is essential for interpreting data and identifying risks. You’ll collaborate with Risk Leads to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve risk management practices. As a newly created position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative risk analytics tools and processes, helping shape the future of risk management within the company.
