Job Title: Project Management Professional

Location: Halifax, NS

Salary: $71,280 – $79,397

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily activities so that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard

• Review and challenge project plans and schedules to make sure they’re realistic, well-integrated, and reflect actual progress

• Support the management of assigned cost accounts, helping to meet agreed-upon budgets, schedules, and quality benchmarks

• Assist in managing project costs and performance, helping to ensure targets are met without compromising quality

• Identify potential challenges and opportunities early and contribute to practical plans for addressing them

• Keep a close eye on key deliverables and acceptance events, helping to make sure we hit every important milestone along the way

Your skills and experiences:

• Exposure to working in a project environment, with a solid understanding of project management tools and techniques. You’ll be able to apply this knowledge to deliver results and seek guidance for more complex tasks

• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data, supporting sound decision-making and project success

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, influencing and building rapport with both internal teams and external stakeholders

• A good understanding of the project lifecycle, key stages, processes, and controls needed to deliver projects on time and to specification
