Role Description:

You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the production team by coordinating with Planning, resolving issues and prioritising operator tasks. You’ll manage work order release and kitting while supporting fast issue resolution and tracking key materials and inputs.

Core Duties:

  • Liaise between production and planning to ensure clear, prioritised workflows for operators.
  • Resolve daily production issues to maintain momentum and meet delivery targets.
  • Leverage the Work To Do List (WTDL) to time work order release, coordinate kitting, and optimise shop floor capacity.
  • Attend IPT & NCR meetings, escalate issues, and drive fast resolution of non-conformances.
  • Monitor production flow, report on bottlenecks and delays.
  • Manage critical inputs including scrap notes, rekits, kit distribution, shelf-life items, and key materials.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in production planning, warehousing operations, and inventory management.
  • Skilled in communicating effectively across integrated teams as well as being highly pro-active.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of Oracle and inventory planning tools.
  • Understanding of engineering, supply chain, MRP, and quality/configuration control processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage material flow, shelf-life items, and high-value parts
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
