Salary: Up to £68,000 depending on skills and experience

Job Description:
Lead Product Security across complex engineering programmes, ensuring products are designed, developed and operated securely throughout their lifecycle. You will define security architectures, guide secure design decisions and provide trusted advice to engineering, programme and supplier teams. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will balance security requirements with operational, commercial and delivery priorities, helping programmes achieve compliance while delivering practical, cost-effective solutions. Through technical leadership and stakeholder influence, you will reduce security risk, strengthen customer confidence and ensure Product Security is embedded into engineering decisions, contributing directly to successful programme outcomes and business growth.
Core Duties:
- Lead Product Security activities across complex engineering programmes and project teams
- Define secure architectures and influence design decisions throughout the product lifecycle
- Provide expert guidance on security risks, requirements, governance and compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, safety, supply chain and programme stakeholders
- Assure suppliers and solutions meet contractual and security obligations
- Deliver Product Security artefacts and support customer acceptance activities
Essential Skills:
- You will have significant Product Security Engineering experience, including risk management and secure system design
- You will have strong leadership and stakeholder influence, translating complex security challenges into practical solutions
- You will have a STEM degree (or equivalent experience) plus CISSP, CISM or ability to achieve professional chartership
