This is a full -time permanent role which offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements including a 9 day fortnight.

Role Description:

Reporting to the Antenna Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, you will be responsible for supporting multiple small teams of cross matrix resources within the IPT and supporting functions to deliver scope into both domestic and international markets. You will have a strong understanding of various contract approaches, and be able to demonstrate the ability, with support from the IPT Lead to navigate these effectively, in diverse international markets.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the IPT Lead with planning and delivery of straight forward to complex projects
  • Deputise for the IPT Lead as required, including at Stakeholder Engagements
  • Co-ordinate project detailed planning actives in accordance with BAE Systems Australia’s Earned Value Management (EVM) and Project Controls processes
  • Work to established key success indicators and recommend trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost
  • Generation of status reports and co-ordination of variance analysis and corrective action activities
  • Maintenance of the of the project management baseline
  • Assisting with the preparation and costing of tenders, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP’s) and Contract Change Proposals (CCP’s)
  • Identify project opportunities and risks and support the development mitigation strategies for pursuit throughout contract phases. Monitor and report on the status of risks and opportunities
  • Attend and participate in project review meetings

About You

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a project or business management role
  • Demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of discrete project outcomes within a low complexity project environment
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Experience co-ordinating cross-functional teams
  • An ability to maintain the goodwill of the Customer and company management through timely, effective, and high quality communication across all mediums
  • Good knowledge of working in an Agile approach, as projects are run in a variety of methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence within the project
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and proactive approach to progressing all assigned tasks
  • Demonstrated effective problem solving skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project
  • Must be able to gain and maintain a minimum BASELINE Security Clearance, or higher level as required for the role
