Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £50k depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain cluster-level services such as ingress, networking, storage integration
• Manage namespaces, RBAC, quotas and policy controls for multi-team use
• Support GPU worker node enablement and scheduling (NVIDIA Operator)
• Operate monitoring/logging platform services and reliability processes
• Define reusable deployment standards and runbooks for service transition

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Experience of Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS operations,
• Experience of platform governance and capacity planning
• Use of key tools such as OpenShift/Kubernetes, Helm, CRI-O, NVIDIA GPU Operator, Prometheus/Grafana/Loki, CSI Storage
