Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Future Combat Air System Acquisition Programme (FCAS-AP), supporting the development of a portfolio of systems to replace the Eurofighter Typhoon in the 2040s.

Reporting to the Requirements & Qualification Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for establishing the requirements strategy, along with the plans and infrastructure needed to support this next-generation system solution.

Core duties:

  • Lead the development and ongoing management of the Requirements Management Plan, including consideration of through-life upgrades to the GCAP system.
  • Own the process and governance for the delivery of the GCAP System Specification.
  • Lead the development of a digital requirements management approach for GCAP.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with international partners across industry and government.
  • This role is suited to a team leader with strong experience in requirements management and systems integration.

Essential Skills:

  • Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • Systems Engineering background with experience in requirements management and qualification
  • Good working knowledge of DOORS and/or Teamcenter
  • Solid understanding of technical requirements management across the full lifecycle, from capture through to verification and qualification
  • MBSE knowledge, with experience in modelling using SysML, UML, and/or the MOOD toolset
  • Experience working with stakeholders, including facilitating workshops and events
