Salary: £51,772.00 + DOE

Job Description:

Support the implementation of the Requirements Management Plan (RMP), including considerations for through-life upgrades. Contribute to the development and use of requirements management toolsets, along with processes and governance needed to deliver a GCAP System Specification. Advance the digital requirements management approach for GCAP while ensuring alignment across stakeholders. Additionally, help build and strengthen effective working relationships with international partners across both industry and government sectors.

Core duties:

  • Support and implementation of Requirements Management Plan (RMP), including consideration for through life upgrades.
  • Implementation and development of the Requirement Management toolset.
  • Implementation and development of process and governance for delivery of a GCAP System Specification for GCAP.
  • Implementation and development of the digital requirements management approach for GCAP.
  • Developing the working relationship with our international partners across Industry and Governments.

Essential Skills:

  • A STEM degree or equivalent experience.
  • A Systems Engineering background with experience of requirements management and qualification.
  • A good working knowledge of DOORS and/or Teamcenter.
  • The role will require a good working knowledge of technical requirement management from capture, with an appreciation for qualification and verification.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders including government representatives and partner companies.

The Future Combat Air System Team :

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Future Combat Air System Acquisition Programme (FCAS-AP), supporting development of a portfolio of systems to replace Eurofighter Typhoon in 2040s.
