Job Title: Lead Project Professional

Location: Barrow in Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £48,000 – depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Management of the Information Systems supporting the SSNA programme
• Management of IT/ Information Management projects, encouraging the innovation and optimisation of our digital capabilities
• Representing the team and providing support at the various ICS (Integrated Combat systems?) and shipbuilder steering groups
• Supporting the delivery of the roadmap to ensure delivery of the programme’s capability improvements
• Report into several business review meetings for IM&T Priority reviews, risk reviews, LFE reviews, Data Management Council and SSNA Digital Work streams

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Experience with Project Management in IT projects
• Experience supporting complex, high value (multi-million Pound) projects
• Experience using Teamcenter, SAP and SAP BI

Desirable:

• Team management experience
• Information Management or IT degree; and/or APM Qualification

The Information Knowledge Management (IKM) team:

This is a new team, allowing you the opportunity to shape and influence the decisions made in the SSNA programme. This is the first time we’ve had an IKM team on this programme and there will be opportunities to use new technologies and you’ll gain exposure to external stakeholders like the MoD, Babcock and Rolls Royce. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
