Job Description

Job title: IT Project Manager

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £54,793-£60,326 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Direct experience of managing application integration
  • Ensuring delivery of IT projects to time, cost and quality
  • Ensuring seamless integration between projects, including transition into Business-as-Usual support
  • Accurate reporting of project status to team members, leadership and external stakeholders
  • Managing customer, partner and supplier relationships
  • Effective management of RAID
  • Developing and tracking project plans, budget and schedule
  • Ensuring business, project and quality management processes are effectively applied across projects

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in Software Delivery, with a strong understanding of Project Lifecycle Management (LCM), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and guide senior stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities to support effective decision-making and project success

Desirable:

  • Professional Project Management certification (e.g., APM, Prince 2)
  • Experience leading integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity between systems and technologies

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Competency Centre:

The ERP Competency Centre is a rapidly growing team within the Air Sector, delivering significant business transformations. With a newly established scope the team is expanding its capability to support multiple strategic programmes of work. Growth is driven by initiatives to remove obsolescence, enhance system integration, and deliver significant business benefits

The team is focused on driving digital innovation, embracing cloud technology where possible. Responsible for managing multiple transformation projects, the team plays a crucial role in supporting the Air Sector’s IT strategy and future technological advancements
