Job Description

Job Title: ITB Analyst

Location: Ottawa, ON

Salary: $87,600 – $105,100

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the manager of Industrial & Technological Benefit (ITB) with the preparation, implementation and maintenance of ITB Management and Offset Plans, subsidiary plans and deliverables

  • Assist with the management of all aspects of BAE Systems’ Offset process & comply with contractual requirements

  • Translating offset objectives into action plans and ensure all offset commitments are achieved.

  • Support the generation and provision of internal management briefings on offset status and help to generate external offset reports

  • Develop sources of ITB credits through discussions with government agencies, key suppliers, defence & marine industry associations

Your skills and experiences:

  • General knowledge of offset principles

  • Exceptional business acumen and understanding of business transactions (e.g. purchase orders, licensing, technology transfer etc.)

  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to solve issues

  • Attention to detail

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint and an ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze multiple sources of data

  • Customer Relationship Management skills

The Commercial team:

You will be working within a small close knit team in the commercial sector engaging with stakeholders across the wider business and collaborating on multiple short term/long term projects with the UK team and Canadian government. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
