Job Title: Head of Digital Networks Product Group

Salary: Circa £110,00 dependent on skills and experiences plus executive package

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building a new digital networks product group that will align to a new supplier contract
  • Executing a comprehensive digital networks and cloud strategy aligned with business goals and future ways of working
  • Prioritises demand as it enters the product group and decides where resources should be prioritised
  • Managing a Networks supplier via major outsourcing contract
  • Driving digital transformation initiatives that improve employee experience, productivity, and engagement.
  • Benchmarking the organisation’s digital networks and cloud maturity and create a roadmap for continuous improvement
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and digital-first collaboration
  • Driving the modernisation of network platforms
  • Managing relationships with key technology vendors and partners to ensure alignment with business needs
  • Working closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to maintain digital networks and cloud security
  • Ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and corporate IT policies
  • Managing budgets, roadmaps and business plans
  • Managing all demand, capacity and change related to Digital Networks and Cloud services
  • Monitoring and improving performance through metrics and continuous improvement

Your skills and experiences:

  • Extensive experience in product management in a network and cloud environment
  • Proven background with Agile practices with knowledge of IT Service Management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, identity & access management (IAM), and cybersecurity best practices
  • Proven track record of launching successful products from inception to market
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • ITIL Practitioner certification desirable

The team:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head for BAE Systems new Digital Networks team where you’ll play a key role in our digital transformation, shaping the organisation.

As the Head of Digital Networks will be accountable for all aspects of the service product lifecycle from initiation to decommissioning, including budget, change, obsolescence management, leading of third-party suppliers, including a primary service provider and meeting all applicable regulations and standards, including rigorous security standards.
