Role Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Hardware Engineer to join our team within Strategic Surveillance LOB based in Adelaide
The position of Hardware Engineer is responsible for contributing to the design and development of electronic / electrical systems in accordance with the contractual and Company requirements in order to achieve the required business performance.
This involves the design, development and implementation of electronic / electrical systems and equipment, including interconnection and integration related to electronic / electrical systems, installing and managing the electronic / electrical system and equipment against technical, schedule and cost goals.
Core Duties:
- To conduct hardware engineering in accordance with HF Exports engineering plans
- Ensure compliance to mandated processes within Personal Safety and Security, Product Safety and Security & Configuration Management and Traceability.
- Support project delivery activities as prioritised by the Hardware Team Lead.
- Support design analysis of electrical/electronic systems and/or equipment.
- Support the translation of electronic/electrical system and/or equipment design into a manufacturable solution and incorporate changes as required.
- Support electronic/electrical systems and/or equipment qualification activities to ensure products meet all requirements (incl. those of a safety and regulatory nature)
About You
- Proven background in Hardware Engineering
- Engineering Degree qualifications within Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
- Satisfy requirements for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia or equivalent
- Working level understanding of Electronics / Electrical Systems
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1.
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR)
