Location: Warton. Hybrid – 3 days per week on site.

Job Description:

Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will support FCAS business partnering activities while taking ownership of the day-to-day management of assigned projects, ensuring effective delivery of IT applications and secure infrastructure.

Core duties:

  • Supporting engagement with the FCAS Line of Business to help define and maintain clear digital roadmaps
  • Assisting with the capture and clarification of business requirements through stakeholder engagement, supporting the translation of business needs and funding into clear, deliverable project plans
  • Leading assigned projects through the lifecycle, with particular focus on early‑phase project definition activities, including scope development, delivery readiness, integration, monitoring and control
  • Managing project handover and acceptance into service in line with agreed processes, ensuring projects contribute to agreed business outcomes and are delivered within approved timescales and budgets
  • Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on project activities, milestones, and dependencies. Maintaining accurate and timely reporting on progress, risks, issues, and changes

Essential Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management, with a track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Experience managing projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation through to delivery
  • Highly organised and self-sufficient, with the ability to prioritise and work independently
  • Committed to professional development in project management, with relevant qualifications (or willingness to achieve them), such as APM PMQ or equivalent
