Job title: Digital Secure Infrastructure Programme Manager

Salary: £63,900+ (dependent on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Reporting into the FCAS Retained Line of Business partner, the role is focussed on determining and managing the retained FCAS Business scope of work
- As the primary interface into FCAS for Secure Infrastructure and Digital Platform, lead the DTS programme of work, coordinate the Digital Strategy, planning and deployment of the FCAS Secure Infrastructure Digital and Digital Platform capability, ensuring alignment to the FCAS business objectives and DTS service provision
- Be the primary interface and leads the FCAS DTS Secure Infrastructure and Digital Platform needs into the FCAS LoB and integrating into the IM&T supply chain
- The scope covers information services provision for FCAS physical and digital secure infrastructure across multiple classification levels. Ensures that the information systems deployment and service provision is compliant with internal policy and process, external contractual and regulatory requirements
- Ensures the provision of specialist knowledge to support and influence FCAS decision making for Secure Infrastructure by ensuring the integration and provision of information specialists including Architecture, Security, Cyber, and Infrastructure
- Ensures that effective project management controls are in place, and that the FCAS LoB and Head of FCAS and DTS management team receive timely reports and advice that will inform their decisions.
- Ensures that effective staffing and organisational structures (including the supply chain) are in place to support the FCAS LoB and DTD&I SDU
- Ensures the IT Service Delivery elements of FCAS business are beign met, co-ordinating closely with our Service Provider Partners
- Forecasts and manages IT deployment schedules and expenditure for FCAS Secure Infrastructure/Digital Platform, ensuring that all IT service, schedule and financial targets are met and identifying areas where these can be improved or are at risk
- Assists with the definition and operation of effective service, schedule and financial control and decision making, especially in the areas of service, projects and component cost models and the allocation and apportionment of all incurred IT costs
Your skills and experiences:
- Relevant IT degree or business degree, experience in IT Service delivery, consultancy or people management position
- Experience of working in an IT Function and relevant field
- Experience of defence and security
- Familiarity with IT trends and good practice

Retained Line of Business FCAS team:
The retained line of business FCAS team is dedicated to customer focus and service delivery, serving as the primary point of contact for secure infrastructure advice on digital services and standards. They identify how digital technology can advance FCAS objectives by defining opportunities, validating business needs, and overseeing solution development while considering organizational and stakeholder impacts. The team offers specialist knowledge to influence decision-making, integrating information from architecture, security, cyber, and infrastructure specialists
They also manage the planning and deployment of the FCAS DTS Secure Infrastructure, ensuring project performance aligns with standards and recommending changes as needed. By producing comprehensive reports, the team ensures conformance to cost, schedule, quality, security, and customer satisfaction targets. They lead the deployment of innovative digital techniques and tools, identify process improvements, and foster a collaborative environment across FCAS stakeholders and DTD subject matter experts
