About the OPPORTUNITY

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for Training Lead to join our Maritime Digital Data and Cyber (DDC) team based in Osborne and CBD, South Australia.

You will be responsible to successfully develop and deliver a range of materials and training in a strategic manner that best supports the Maritime line of business. This also includes building and facilitating applicable learning environments and fostering learning culture within the Maritime DDC cohort.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the training team to Design and Deliver training activities as required by the business to support the high performing culture
  • Lead the training team to Undertake all assigned training activities in accordance with the identified project directives and standards
  • Oversee and capture accurate records of training delivery and assist with preparing records as required to support training governance
  • Support the Maritime DDC group to help meet contractual training obligations
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and coach and support the Maritime DDC group on development and training plans
  • Apply principles of instructional design to build blended digital training materials, including engaging online eLearning content for digital technology
  • Provide regular status information to all relevant stakeholders and assist in the development of project infrastructure such a tools of deployment, metrics allocation and process development
  • Build, lead and motivate team members to meet expected delivery outcomes/commitments

About YOU

  • Demonstrated experience with training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of relevant training and development programs
  • Strong communication skill (both oral and written) and problem-solving skills with a strategic and collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a high-performing team
  • Experience using Captivate, Articulate 360 (or similar), SharePoint, and Kanban boards is desirable
  • Degree or formal qualification in technical training, with a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent industry experience
