Job title: Cyber and Information Security Professional

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £47,683 – £52,426 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct and review security assessments and operational requirements for the assigned work stream to protect FCAS systems and assets
  • Assess the adequacy of the security measures within their business area to ensure that policies and procedures are up-to-date and take account of program developments
  • Act under direction to advise clients aiding them in understanding their exposure to security threats/risks
  • Apply knowledge, skills and training in one or more area of Cyber Security to deliver the information technology and cyber solutions required to allow the business to meet its strategic and tactical goals
  • Build effective relationships and coordination with key local functions and business representative
  • Create and supports collaborative ways of working across their area of responsibility

Your skills and experience :

Essential:

  • Familiarity with recognised industry standards and bodies of knowledge, and the ability to adapt this understanding to the operational context in which FCAS functions
  • Foundational understanding of government and industry standard security policy and best practice guidance
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following ; Secure by Design, IdAM, SOC, Cloud Security, Zero Trust Architectures, Threat Modelling, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Digital Engineering Capabilities and Infrastructure
  • Ability to share own knowledge and experience and support those around them

Desirable:

  • Industry qualifications and certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CCP)
