Job Description

Job Title: Cyber Analysis Professional

Location: Cheltenham, Ipswich or London

Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The team maintain and develop bespoke capabilities working very closely with our customers. We work across a wide variety of platforms and technology stacks and we utilise a wide range of programming languages. The team is based across our main four sites as well as working on customer sites.

What you’ll do:

  • Utilise your analysis skills on a daily basis and leverage your passion for problem solving to generate and share intelligence relating to complex and critical events.
  • Build trusting and long-lasting relationships with key customers to enable you to understand and contribute to their purpose.
  • Assist on the design and delivery of world class analytics and capabilities.
  • Continually seek opportunities both internally and externally to improve our capabilities.

What you'll bring:

  • Be a passionate, self-driven individual willing to learn new analytical techniques working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving ability and a logical mindset.
  • Be adaptable and willing to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and events

You may also have:

  • Have experience working in a cyber security or investigative profession
  • Have knowledge of network telemetry data such as DNS or Netflow.
  • Have data science experience
  • Have used Spark and Scala or Python to write highly scalable analytics.
  • Have written analytical reports and helped communicate findings to various customers.
