Job Description

Job title: Culture & Opportunity Coordinator

Location: RAF Lossiemouth – onsite

Salary: £29,563+ depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate Good Ideas, Risk and Opportunity submissions at triage stage, working closely with stakeholders to clarify intent, scope and impact.
  • Act as the key liaison with RAF Coningsby via the Strategy and Climate Manager, ensuring a joined-up, corporate approach across all locations.
  • Lead the coordination of EF&V activities across TyTAN, Air EF&V and RAF Lossiemouth Station Charity teams.
  • Support the development and delivery of the Community Engagement Strategy, strengthening local relationships and impact
  • Serve as an ambassador for BAE Systems Early Careers programmes, including Apprenticeships and STEM initiatives and conduct STEM outreach activities in the region.
  • Ensure effective communication and promotion of internal activities through local comms screens, monthly emails and TyTAN news alerts.
  • Support the site enablement team in delivering the site growth strategy via project coordination and support activities.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office365).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to different priorities.
  • Highly organised, able to follow compliance requirements while spotting opportunities for improvement.
  • Outstanding communication skills, confident in engaging with senior and executive stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, or Jira.
  • Previous experience within the MOD or Defence industry.

The TyTAN Site Enablement Team:

This role sits within the TyTAN Site Enablement Team at RAF Lossiemouth, supporting a wide range of activities including Infrastructure, STEM and Charity Engagement, Project Management, Integration, Change, and Continuous Improvement.

You will work closely with the TyTAN Project Manager to coordinate Charity, STEM, and Opportunity Management across the site, ensuring teams are engaged, communication is clear, and activities are successfully delivered.

Key collaborations include the Employee Fundraising & Volunteering Team, Education Services Team at ASK, the Continuous Improvement team, and RAF Coningsby counterparts, providing a chance to work across multiple teams and locations.
