Job Description

Degree Apprenticeships (Mechanical Engineering Major – Systems Engineering Minor) – Victoria

Our Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship offers an exceptional pathway for motivated individuals who want to learn, earn, and make an impact from day one.

Based in Melbourne, this five-year program combines practical on-the-job training with academic study toward a recognised Mechanical Engineering degree. You’ll gain real industry experience working alongside experienced engineers, tradespeople, and technical specialists on meaningful projects that shape how our business operates.

About the OPPORTUNITY

We have new opportunities for Degree Apprentices in Mechanical Engineering (Major) & Systems Engineering (Minor) through RMIT.

We are now accepting applications for their 2026 Degree Apprenticeship program commencing in February 2026.

What is a Degree Apprenticeship?

  • Typically, five years in duration (honours degree), the degree is completed at a partner university and is underpinned by paid employment as a degree apprentice.
  • In a degree apprenticeship, individuals work for an organisation on a full-time basis while simultaneously studying for a degree. This work-study arrangement allows apprentices to apply their learning directly in a real-world work environment, gaining practical skills and experience that complement their academic studies.

Clearances
