Job Description

Company Description

We're ASOS. We blend our flair for fashion with our love of cutting- edge technology, but more importantly were interested in how we can bring the best out of you.

We exist to give people the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you're free to be your true self without judgment, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Solution Specialist to play a critical role in bridging product roadmap initiatives with our third‑party technology solutions. You’ll be accountable for solution architecture and design decisions across your area, ensuring technical, delivery, and business outcomes align with ASOS’s wider technology and business strategies.

You’ll join a highly collaborative solution architecture and technology leadership team working at the intersection of Product, Technology, and external partners, translating complex business needs into scalable, enterprise‑ready solutions. The team values strong technical judgement, open collaboration, and pragmatic decision‑making, with a focus on delivering real business impact at pace. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, work alongside experienced specialists across multiple domains, and help shape the future of ASOS’s technology landscape.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with hands‑on experience of Centric Software (PLM) in a complex retail or eCommerce environment.

  • Design and shape scalable, reliable, and cost‑effective technology solutions aligned to product and business strategy.
  • Own solution architecture for your area, ensuring designs align with reference architectures and enterprise standards.
  • Lead and oversee the design and implementation of key strategic initiatives, working closely with internal teams and third‑party partners.
  • Ensure effective system integration using proven integration patterns and real‑world experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platforms through innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to data strategy, including data modelling, governance, security, and enablement of analytics, ML, and AI use cases.
  • Provide guidance on quality, testing, and security to ensure solutions meet business, technical, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a trusted technical authority, influencing stakeholders and fostering strong collaboration across Product, Tech, and partners.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and implementing technology solutions for organisations of significant scale or complexity.
  • Proven experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM’s). Experience with Centric Software would be a bonus.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment – preferably Azure.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and approaches in environments of rapid technical and business change.
  • Experience within fashion, retail, marketplace, or international eCommerce environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to work across multiple areas of the business and technology.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to guide, support, and influence a diverse range of technical teams and partners.
  • A strong appreciation of data, security, quality, and compliance considerations in enterprise technology solutions.
