We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you’re free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

But how are we showing up? We’re proud members of Inclusive Companies, are Disability Confident Committed and have signed the Business in the Community Race at Work Charter and we placed 8th in the Inclusive Top 50 Companies Employer list.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. Let our Talent team know if you need any adjustments throughout the process in whatever way works best for you.

Job Description

As Senior Risk Analyst in this diverse role, you will play an important role in supporting ASOS' Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Insurance, Risk Management and Assurance activities. Working within the Internal Audit & Risk team, you'll help support the ongoing development and operation of our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) framework, ensure the smooth operation of our Group Insurance programme, and contribute to a wide range of assurance, risk and internal audit activities across the Group.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, improving processes and delivering practical outcomes. Working with cross-functional stakeholders, the role combines operational delivery, stakeholder engagement and analytical support across multiple risk and assurance disciplines. Ultimately you’ll play a key part in helping to strengthen resilience, governance, controls and risk management across ASOS.

The Details

  • Help establish and support the ongoing operation of ASOS refreshed BCDR framework, including maintaining documentation, coordinating business engagement and supporting governance activities.
  • Support the completion and refresh of Business Impact Assessments, recovery plans, dependency mapping and other resilience documentation for critical business services.
  • Coordinate BCDR testing, exercising and training activities, track remediation actions and support lessons learned reviews arising from incidents, tests and exercises.
  • Support incident and crisis management activities as required, including maintaining records, coordinating actions, supporting post-incident reviews and contributing to continuous improvement activity.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Group Insurance queries, coordinating responses to stakeholders, maintaining records, tracking actions and ensuring requests are managed efficiently and professionally.
  • Support the annual Group Insurance renewal cycle by coordinating data collection, preparing evidence and documentation, liaising with brokers and insurers, maintaining records and helping to track renewal actions and deliverables.
  • Assist with insurance claims administration and related queries, including gathering supporting information, coordinating stakeholder responses, maintaining claims logs and tracking claims progress through to resolution.
  • Deliver selected internal audit, risk assurance and advisory reviews under the direction of the Risk & Assurance Manager and Head of Internal Audit & Risk. Assist with audit planning, fieldwork, stakeholder interviews, testing, evidence review, report drafting and action tracking across a variety of operational, technology, financial and compliance topics.
  • Prepare high-quality analysis, presentations, dashboards and reporting for governance forums, management committees and senior stakeholders. Collate and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, themes, emerging risks and opportunities, providing clear and practical insights to stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business and act as a trusted partner in promoting effective risk management, resilience, governance and control practices.
  • Provide practical advice and support on areas including insurance, business continuity, risk management, governance and internal controls, helping simplify complex topics and increase stakeholder understanding. Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency through the use of AI, data analytics, automation and process improvement techniques.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least three days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

Qualifications

About You

  • Relevant professional qualification in a risk, insurance, resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, controls, audit or governance focused business area, an advantage but not essential.
  • Good understanding of risk management and internal control concepts, with a desire to continue developing expertise across resilience, insurance and assurance disciplines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work through ambiguity and identify practical solutions. Experience of complex and less mature operating environments an advantage.
