Job Description

Shape the Future of Tech at ASOS

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in building the teams that power one of the world’s most innovative online fashion retailers? We’re hiring a Recruiter who wants to make a real impact on the future of AI and Data Science Engineering at ASOS.

Join a high-performing, close-knit Talent Acquisition team that thrives on pace, creativity, and partnership. Here, you’ll be empowered to challenge the status quo, experiment with new tools, and help us discover the brightest minds in Tech, often before they even know they’re looking for their next move.

Why This Role?

Make Your Mark: You’ll be at the heart of our mission to research, source, attract and assess exceptional talent, using cutting-edge platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, hackajob, HackerRank, Maki, SmartRecruiters, and CoPilot Pro. Your proactive approach will ensure we reach the best, not just the most visible.

Drive Change: Our hiring processes are robust but always evolving. You’ll have the freedom and support to innovate, streamline, and shape how we hire, making a real difference to our business and candidate experience.

Grow Fast: ASOS moves at speed, and so will your career. With shifting business needs and a lean, agile team, you’ll gain exposure to a variety of projects and challenges, accelerating your development and broadening your expertise.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision-making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment journey for Engineering roles, delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring teams alike.
  • Balance quality and pace, delivering world-class hires, and always raising the bar for talent.
  • Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and stakeholders, becoming a go-to advisor.
  • Screen high volumes of applications and proactively source top talent, using assessment tools and frameworks to ensure the best fit.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and ways of working, your ideas will shape how we hire.
  • Work efficiently with the latest recruitment technologies and AI-driven tools to enhance sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement.
  • Step up to support your team when priorities shift, embracing variety and new challenges.
  • Represent ASOS with energy and professionalism, acting as a true ambassador for our brand.

Qualifications

This role is ideal for a high-performing recruiter / consultant currently working in an agency environment who is looking to make their first move in-house.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience recruiting for AI Engineering or Data Science in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Confidence managing multiple vacancies with autonomy and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
  • Tech-savvy and excited to explore new tools and innovations, including AI-powered platforms, to continuously improve recruitment processes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a readiness to adapt quickly as business needs evolve.
  • A passion for hiring diverse, exceptional tech talent and delivering a standout candidate experience.
  • Self-motivation, proactivity, and a drive to deliver results, independently and as part of a team.
