We exist to give people the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you're free to be your true self without judgment, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

Job Description

At ASOS, our Merchandising teams are at the heart of delivering the right product, in the right place, at the right time.

We're currently hiring for two Assistant Merchandiser opportunities within ASOS DESIGN, with one role sitting in Menswear and one role sitting in Womenswear. Whilst the responsibilities are similar across both areas, you'll have the opportunity to work within one of the largest and most exciting divisions of the ASOS business, helping to deliver trend-led product ranges loved by millions of customers worldwide.

Working closely with Buying, Product Development and Supply Chain teams, you'll play a key role in planning, forecasting and trading your department to drive sales, profitability and an exceptional customer experience.

Whether your passion is Menswear or Womenswear, you'll be joining a fast-paced, customer-focused team where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact whilst continuing to develop your merchandising career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day trading and performance of your ASOS DESIGN department
  • Managing weekly sales forecasts, stock levels and intake plans to deliver sales and profit targets
  • Analysing trading performance and identifying opportunities, risks and actions
  • Building and maintaining WSSIs and supporting longer-term strategic planning
  • Working closely with Buying partners to develop balanced and customer-focused ranges
  • Monitoring stock health and implementing actions to maximise availability and minimise markdown risk
  • Preparing analysis and recommendations for weekly trade meetings
  • Identifying customer and market trends to inform decision making
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Coaching and supporting Merchandising Administrators in their development
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve processes, reporting and ways of working
  • Championing our commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
