As a Regional Networking Engineer here at Maersk, you will hold responsibility for supporting and maintaining the networking infrastructure of our APM Terminal Hubs (ALG/TM2/TC1) as a regional resource.

We are seeking an experienced Regional Network Engineer to join our friendly team, focussed to one of our IT Hubs terminals in Tangier, Morocco working across the region.
As a Regional Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in working with global teams to execute on the modernization, standardization, and security agenda of the networking infrastructure. You will also work with other departments and Global Team’s to troubleshoot Network & communication issues.
Key Responsibilities –
Additionally, to the duties above you will be responsible for –
- Ensure availability of terminal networks across the region
- Use Service Now and other Service Management products for Incident resolution and Network related requests within agreed SLA’s
- Execution of global network change programs ensuring first time, right change management, without causing unplanned network interruptions.
- Ensuring secure network configurations in line with APM Terminals standards and policies
- Using proper monitoring tools to provide full visibility to IT Operations and the business
- Create and maintain network flow diagrams and documentation for all business applications that meet industry standards.
We’re looking for –
- In-depth knowledge and expertise on industry standard networking technologies and standards
- Experience in designing and implementing secure network solutions (WLAN/LAN/WAN)
- Clear proven expertise and experience in Cisco environments supported by certification levels, minimum CCNA, preference CCNP (preference enterprise environments)
- Experience with OT related networks (Siemens Scalance experience is a definite preference)
- Experience with security solutions like Firewalls (certification preferred)
- Experience in network troubleshooting and with tools like Wireshark
- Experience with the use of monitoring tool such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Zabbix ...etc
- Ability to work with different vendors, 3rd Party and stakeholders
- History of providing architectural review/planning of network physical topology
- Ability to troubleshoot wireless networks (802.11 & Private LTE) using Airmagnet or similar
- Experience with creating and maintaining network flow diagrams for business applications and other Data communications
- Ability to multitask between different network related projects and incidents
