Finance Business Partner
Location: APMT - Gateway Terminal India (GTI) JNPT, Nhava Sheva (Navi Mumbai), India

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team at Gateway Terminals India (GTI). In this role, you'll partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making that enables sustainable business growth.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a key role in financial planning, management reporting, forecasting, business analysis, and governance while helping strengthen financial performance across the terminal.
What you'll be doing
As a trusted finance partner, you will:
- Partner with business leaders to deliver meaningful financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Prepare and analyse management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, business segment performance, and key financial metrics.
- Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate investments, projects, and commercial opportunities.
- Support Board reporting, regional performance reviews, and executive presentations with clear financial analysis.
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts (ROFO), and financial planning processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting within the APM Terminals Group reporting framework.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve business outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support governance by ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Group Accounting Policies, internal financial controls, and relevant statutory requirements.
What we're looking for
We're interested in professionals who combine strong financial expertise with a collaborative business mindset.
You will ideally have:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA Finance, or an equivalent finance qualification.
- Around 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, Management Reporting, or Finance Business Partnering.
- Strong understanding of management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.
- Experience preparing financial models and evaluating investment decisions using modern financial techniques.
- Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and statutory financial reporting.
- Understanding of Indian corporate regulations, taxation, transfer pricing, and financial governance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different functions.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to simplify processes and drive operational excellence.
