APM Terminals has the temporary operation of Port of Balboa, one the largest terminals in Americas with container, dry bulk and Roro operations.
We are looking for a Environmental Lead.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Contribute to the implementation of responsibilities related to compliance with the Environmental Management, Contingency, and Environmental Management Plan across all departments and divisions.
- Develop and implement protocols, procedures, manuals, training, and programs for the continuous improvement of environmental management within the company.
- Administer and evaluate environmental compliance reports submitted to the relevant authorities.
- Monitor, evaluate, and track the performance of environmental management programs, both in the operational phase and in projects.
- Provide support and review investigations of incidents or accidents related to environmental management.
- Provide support in the development of training on environmental management procedures and policies.
- Manage and analyze statistics, controls, and updates to documentation related to environmental management programs.
We expect you to have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Environmental Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree in environmental management (preferred)
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in related positions.
- Continuous improvement and process-driven mindset, lean is a differential.
- Excellent English and Spanish written and verbal communication.
