- Hands‑on exposure to container‑handling and mobile crane equipment
- On‑the‑job learning in a safety‑focused, process‑driven environment
- Opportunities to strengthen electrical, PLC, and basic hydraulic skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault‑finding on RTGs, MHCs, spreaders, and related equipment
- Diagnose breakdowns and perform corrective repairs to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance in line with OEM standards and safety regulations
- Carry out repairs on defects raised in examiner defect lists
- Complete work orders, confirmation slips, and maintenance records accurately
- Follow HSSE rules, safe working procedures, and housekeeping standards
- Work shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- Continuous improvement mindset: curiosity about equipment reliability and commitment to safe, quality workmanship
- ND, HND, BSc, or BTech in an engineering discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience as an electrician in ports, mines, steel, production, or manufacturing environments
- Experience working on RTGs, MHCs, spreaders, or heavy‑duty equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, and hydraulic systems
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency repairs
