Two roles. One purpose: turning data into insight - Drive performance as an Operational Performance Analyst at Anglian Water

You’ll develop performance frameworks, deliver robust reporting, and partner with stakeholders to ensure insights drive real action. What you’ll be doing

  • Use analysis tools and statistical techniques to identify trends, correlations, and causations in complex data sets.

  • Interpret data and present findings in appropriate formats, following best practice.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and deliver high-value analytical projects.

  • Develop and apply robust performance measurement frameworks and ensure data quality and compliance.

  • Communicate insights clearly, tailoring messages to different audiences and driving action.

  • Collaborate with the analytics community to share knowledge and continuously improve analytical effectiveness.

What does it take to be an Operational Performance Analyst?

  • A Level standard or equivalent experience in Maths and Statistics.

  • Understanding of performance frameworks, data quality, and governance.

  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis, combining datasets, and visualising outputs.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Logical, analytical, and able to constructively challenge requirements and build on feedback.

  • Proactive, takes ownership, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

  • Able to build analytics products (e.g., Power BI) to company standards and explain data clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • Champions Health & Safety, follows policies and procedures, and constructively challenges for better results.
