Join Airbus Defence and Space in Ulm as a Werkstudent (d/m/w) in Software Development & MBSE focusing on Java and UML/SysML. Requirements
Enrolled full-time student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
Advanced knowledge in Java or C++.
Solid knowledge in UML and initial experience with SysML.
Technical understanding of model transformations and generative development approaches.
Good German and English language skills.
Skills & Responsibilities
Java or C++: Implement new features, improve error handling, and write unit and integration tests for the UML-to-code generator.
UML/SysML: Help advance MBSE tooling by implementing modeling aids and validation rules for UML models, and support migration to CAMEO Systems Modeler.
Model transformations: Assist with tool migration, including model transfer, diagram redrawing, and preparing model transformations.
Potential transition routes: People from junior software development or systems engineering academic backgrounds may bring programming and modeling skills, alongside meeting the required Java and UML knowledge.

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten
MBSE-Tooling: Du hilfst bei der Weiterentwicklung des MBSE-Toolings (bspw. Implementierung von Modellierungshilfen und Validierungsregeln des UML Modells) und dokumentierst die Fortschritte sorgfältig.
Weiterentwicklung eines Code-Generators: Du implementierst neue Features, verbessertest das Error Handling und schreibst umfassende Unit- sowie Integrationstests für unseren UML-to-Code-Generator.
Tool-Migration & Modernisierung: Du unterstützt uns beim Wechsel zum CAMEO Systems Modeler. Dazu gehören das Umladen von Modellen, das Neuzeichnen von Diagrammen im neuen Tool sowie die Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Modelltransformationen.
Erforderliche Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen
Eingeschriebener Vollzeitstudent (d/m/w) im Bereich Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Software Engineering oder ein vergleichbares Fach.
Du verfügst über fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in Java oder C++.
Du bringst fundierte Kenntnisse in UML und erste Erfahrungen mit SysML mit.
Du hast ein technisches Verständnis für Modelltransformationen und generative Entwicklungsansätze.
Du bist sorgfältig bei der Arbeit mit Diagrammen und Datenstrukturen.
Du verfügst über eine selbständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise und magst Teamarbeit
Du verfügst über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
