The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecolog ical Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific con tract, under Business Fra nce’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
- Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

The contract duration of VIE is 12 months.
A VIE for a Sales & Marketing Support position has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Canberra. You will join Sales & Marketing APAC.
The VIE will support, bridge and reconcile strategic topics across APAC within the ADS Sales & Marketing population. The job holder will also be tasked to support campaign preparation across multiple countries, ensuring readiness across people & processes as well as respecting local cultural sensitivity in APAC.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
Campaign Execution & Readiness
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-country marketing campaigns and initiatives within APAC.
- Develop and implement campaign readiness checklists and materials to ensure local teams are prepared (e.g., process documentation, asset localization guidance, training support).
- Monitor campaign timelines, tracking progress against milestones, and proactively flagging potential risks or delays.
- Ensure all campaign materials and execution plans are compliant with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and local cultural nuances.
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Support the standardization of marketing processes and best practices across the APAC markets.
- Manage the repository of shared marketing resources, case studies, and internal communications.
- Assist in budget tracking and expense reporting related to regional marketing activities.
- Support ad-hoc requests and projects from the regional Sales & Marketing Director.
This role will involve occasional travel for business in Australia (Brisbane) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You have the following skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in Marketing or Project Coordination (apprenticeships and internships included).
- Prior experience in a marketing or project coordination role would be an added advantage, with a strong understanding of marketing concepts and campaign lifecycles.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
In addition, you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
- Highly organized, proactive, and meticulous with strong attention to detail.
- Language Skills: advanced level of English (mandatory)
