Job Description

Job Description:

Skywise is a leading digital services company, wholly owned by Airbus. We deliver a first-of-its-kind offer that seamlessly integrates Planning & Operations Control, Flight, Technical, and Ground Operations. By providing interoperable digital solutions for end-to-end operations, Skywise combines aircraft manufacturer expertise and digital know-how to transform operational complexity into predictable and profitable performance, ensuring resilient and more sustainable operations.

We are seeking an AI Automation Specialist to drive operational efficiency by analyzing business processes and designing streamlined, low-code AI solutions. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology, focusing on building intelligent agents to automate daily workflows.

This role is in the Operational Excellence group reporting to the Head of Enterprise AI and Business Applications. We work closely with the functional units of the business (ie. Human Resources, Legal, Sales, Procurement) to understand their outcomes, streamline their processes and automate for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis: Analyze existing business workflows, identify bottlenecks, and map out future-state automation opportunities.
  • Agent Development: Design, build, and deploy low-code AI agents and automation workflows to solve day-to-day business challenges.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with non-technical business units to gather requirements and translate them into functional automation tools.
  • Optimization: Monitor the performance of deployed automations, troubleshooting issues and optimizing prompts and logic for continuous improvement.
  • Train: Document workflows, cross-train business team members, and hand off operational workflows to process owners for ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Guide: Keep aware of advancements in AI and automation trends to continuously propose innovative enhancements that boost operational productivity.

Must Haves:

  • 2+ years in business process analysis, workflow design, and process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and deploying solutions using low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, specifically prompt engineering and how to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for business tasks.
  • Strong understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with tools like UiPath, Power Automate, or Google Workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.

*Technology You’ll Use:

  • Google Enterprise: Google Cloud AI, Vertex AI Agents, AppSheet, and Google Workspace integrations.
  • Automation: Low-code automation platforms.
  • Design: Process mapping software (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).

*Nice to Haves:

  • Basic understanding of scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or SQL for minor customizations.
  • Experience using AI platforms such as Gemini, Claude, Codex, Copilot, or similar tools.
  • Experience in change management, user adoption, or training internal teams on new tech.
  • Background in Agile project management.

What we Offer:

Located in the heart of University of Waterloo’s David Johnston Research + Technology Park, Skywise is close to shops, restaurants, gyms, daycare, and many other amenities, and only 10 minutes away from Hwy 85.

As part of our family, you will enjoy:
