In order to support our digital transformation, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Digital Workplace Expert (d/f/m) to join our team.

As a Digital Workplace Expert, you are passionate about digital technologies and agile execution within national and international regulated environments across Europe. You understand the concepts and benefits of digital compliance and will strongly contribute to the transformation of Airbus IT by influencing culture change and establishing new ways of working. This role is a unique opportunity to develop digital products that comply with national regulations, shaping a key market for the next decade.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours (minimum 80%) and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Knowledge sharing and teamwork : Promote knowledge capture, development, and sharing across a diverse, international, and multicultural organization, fostering a strong culture of teamwork.
  • Strategic Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice and best practices to management (up to CIO level) and Digital PSL (Product Service Line) on technology, design solutions, and strategic orientations on key programs either during early phases or critical reviews
  • Platform Optimization: Enhance user experience and performance for the Airbus Collaboration (Google Workspace platform, Microsoft Office 365) including Gen AI (Gemini) features.
  • Technical Sovereignty: Deliver expertise on key programs during early phases or critical reviews, and share our future ensuring digital product development complies with regulations and sovereignty
  • Ecosystem Integration: Oversee the integration and interconnection of Google Workspace with other corporate ecosystems using APIs
  • Knowledge Leadership: Represent Airbus in external forums, lead benchmarking activities, publish technical articles, and ensure the transfer of expertise across the IT organization.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Extensive Tech Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT technologies, specifically with SaaS collaboration such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office 365 and infrastructure to access cloud solutions.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Proven expertise in IaaS/PaaS environments (GCP, Azure) and the implementation of Gen AI tools in a corporate context.
  • Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), SSO (SAML/OIDC), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and encryption standards.
  • Network & Messaging: Technical proficiency in messaging protocols, including routing, Mail Gateway solutions, and complex API integrations.
  • Regulated Environments: Solid understanding of IT regulatory frameworks within a defense or highly regulated context.
  • Language Skills: English fluently and German would be a plus
