In order to support the Digital Workplace Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a new Digital Workplace Change & Adoption (d/f/m) impactful team player.

The Digital Workplace team provides the productivity environment that allows our workforce to collaborate effectively. This role is critical for the success of new productivity tools offered by Digital Workplace, covering both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

You will operate at a strategic intersection, acting as a key partner to Business Senior Stakeholders and the Digital Executive team . Your mission is not just to implement tools, but to negotiate and define the vital trade-offs between cutting-edge technology offerings and strict regulatory compliance. You will ensure that adoption activities drive value while adhering to the specific data regulations required in the Defence and Space sector.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Executive Interface & Negotiation: Act as the primary interface between the Digital Executive team and Business Senior Stakeholders to identify and negotiate the right trade-offs between technological innovation and regulatory constraints.
  • Strategic Alignment: Translate high-level business goals from the Aerospace sector into actionable Digital Workplace roadmaps, ensuring leadership buy-in for necessary changes.
  • Adoption & Change: Drive change and adoption activities for new productivity tools, managing expectations at a senior level regarding what is technically feasible within a secure environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all productivity workflows align with strict data segregation regulations (Restricted data, Export Control, Unclassified), validating these workflows with security governance.
  • Tooling Strategy: Define adoption strategies for hybrid environments (Google Workspace/MS Office), ensuring the balance between Cloud capabilities and On-premises security requirements is maintained.
  • SME Role: Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Data Leakage Protection (DLP), advising leadership on risk mitigation during digital transformation.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Completed studies in IT, Business Administration, or a similar discipline with a focus on Digital Transformation.
  • Seniority & Negotiation: Proven track record in collaborating with C-level or Senior Executives; strong negotiation skills to find consensus between conflicting requirements (e.g., Security vs. Usability).
  • Technology Mastering: Deep technical knowledge of Google Workspace and MS Office ecosystems (Cloud and On-prem).
  • Security Expertise: Strong mastery of Data Leakage Protection (DLP) concepts and tools.
  • Sector Acumen: Excellent Business Acumen regarding the Aerospace Sector (Defence and Space), understanding the unique operational challenges of this industry.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Profound understanding of specific data regulations and data segregation (Restricted data, Export Control, Unclassified).
  • Excellent communication skills willing to deliver transnational impact.
  • Fluent in English and German (reading, writing and speaking) is mandatory.
