Description

You will join the Airbus organization as a Project Manager working on strategic S/4 Hana ERP transformation/ on-going projects. The mission of the Quality PSL is to deliver innovative IT solutions that support digital transformation and efficient operations for customer services. Quality PSL manages several Applications in Project and RunMode for Aircraft production.

IS Project management is the next level of accountability that Airbus India will host in the future. This position is a one off opportunity to pioneer it.

Context & Role

You will have the accountability to manage implementation project in line with ERP CoE strategy and SAP S/4 HANA recommendations (Clean Core). As a project manager, you should be able to understand the end to end business process and be able to handle communication with stakeholders effectively.

You should be able to -

Implement the best practices of Project Management (delivery excellence, budget adherence, risks & opportunities management..)

Have strong collaborations with all project stakeholders.

Ensure constant and effective communication with the business and the sponsors.

Proficient level in handling complex Suppliers. Looking for an expert in Supplier Management.

Manage and prevent crisis situations,

Objectives of the role:

  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Manage projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, roll-outs, including risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze project status as when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day reports on project status and changes.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing progress.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
  • Ability to come up with a Velocity Improvement plan and Quality Improvement plan whenever required.
  • Establish a concrete governance structure and make sure suppliers adhere to it.
  • Establishing Project organization structure, project plan, project charter, process improvement plans, as per the nature of the project, considering AIRBUS standard processes.
  • Experience in preparing a roadmap for implementation projects with appropriate quality gates and milestones.
  • Preparation of Test Strategy and experience in Test Automation.
  • Defining meaningful metrics to track the progress.
  • Define escalation matrix, communication plan, etc.
  • Experience in creation of ERP Roadmap.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Engineering
  • Having a strong working experience for SAP implementation projects a Project Manager.
  • Having 10 to 12 years of strong SAP experience.
  • Strong functional/ technical experience in SAP.
  • Experience in handling green field implementation projects.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proactive problem solving approach.
  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Experience in Agile Methodology.

• Secondary Skills

• Knowledge on either of the tools ServiceNow, Agility or JIRA, Monitoring Tools.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong reporting skills.

• Very Strong English communication (Written & Verbal)

• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.

• Good in dealing with cross- cultural business stakeholders.

O Ability to get things done

O Ability to negotiate and Influence people.
