Job Description

Job Description:

Join our SAP Team in Copenhagen: Ready to take direct ownership of the SAP BTP digital backbone connecting global aviation? We are looking for an SAP Integrations Specialist to join our team. While we operate as an integral part of the global Airbus ecosystem, this role offers high technical autonomy, direct communication channels, and end-to-end impact as you help drive our migration from PI/PO to the Cloud.

What the job is ...

As an SAP Integrations Specialist, you will spearhead modern cloud integration design and serve as the local technical anchor for our integration landscape, ensuring stability while driving our transition toward a cloud-first architecture using SAP Integration Suite and BTP. Enforcing our global governance model across local and international business units, you will drive Satair’s disciplined federated development framework, where our Central Integration Team acts as the technical gatekeeper and operational authority to guarantee a "Zero-Disruption" production environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Platform Operations & High Availability: Supporting the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance, and proactive troubleshooting of the integration landscape to guarantee platform-level stability and performance across our SAP RISE environment.
  • PI/PO-to-BTP Cloud Migration: Leading and executing global project tracks to migrate legacy SAP PI/PO interfaces into SAP Integration Suite on BTP, ensuring minimal business disruption and streamlined system cut-overs.
  • Architecture & Best Practice Advisory: Advising solution architects, functional teams, and external IT suppliers on integration standards, reusable enterprise patterns, and modular cloud architectures.
  • Technical Quality Gatekeeping: Conducting formal "Gate Reviews" on incoming iFlows submitted by functional teams, auditing for robust exception handling, modularity, Groovy/mapping efficiency, and BTP resource/credit impact.
  • Sole Production Deployment Authority: Enforcing the "Zero-Disruption" governance policy by exercising exclusive deployment and transport rights into the Production tenant, ensuring zero unauthorized write access.
  • Security & Governance Enforcement: Verifying that all interfaces comply with global naming conventions, utilize the BTP Secure Store without hardcoded credentials, and adhere to strict enterprise security standards.
  • Landscape & Performance Optimization: Continuously monitoring runtime performance, memory footprints, and BTP tenant health to proactively resolve bottlenecks and optimize integration flows.
  • Multi-Adapter & Protocol Oversight: Governing end-to-end integration scenarios across diverse protocols and adapters, including HTTP/REST, SOAP, IDOC, JDBC, SFTP/File, OData, and SAP Graph.
  • SAP RISE & Ecosystem Connectivity: Supporting and securing integration touchpoints connecting our SAP RISE S/4HANA backbone with SAP Fiori, non-SAP systems, and third-party cloud services.

You will take ownership of platform-level monitoring, overall integration stability, and landscape performance across our SAP RISE environment. In this role, you will guide technical teams by promoting standard APIs and pre-delivered integration packages from SAP and partners to accelerate delivery and enforce enterprise consistency. Working closely with functional consultants, external developers, and global business stakeholders, you will review Solution Design Documents (SDDs) to ensure business requirements translate into secure, scalable, and compliant integration patterns. And assist with writing (ARDs) Architectural Requirement Dossier.

Leveraging your ability to take the lead, you will drive both small- and large-scale initiatives-most notably our PI/PO-to-Cloud migration-in close collaboration with distributed international teams. Your role is central to maintaining high documentation quality in our knowledge repositories and upholding rigorous technical gate standards before any solutions reach production. Staying current with SAP BTP and cloud integration trends, you will balance architectural oversight with deep troubleshooting and operational governance to support continuous improvement across Satair’s digital backbone.

Some travel days to be expected.

How you will contribute to the team

With at least 5 years of enterprise integration experience, you bring a solid technical foundation, an architectural mindset, and a proactive approach to our Copenhagen-based integration team.

With deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, SAP BTP, and legacy SAP PI/PO, you will steer the architecture, governance, and quality assurance of solutions across our complex enterprise landscape. Your comprehensive knowledge of legacy standards-such as IDOC, ALE, BAPI, RFC, SOAP, and REST-combined with modern cloud paradigms will be critical as you lead the technical migration of our on-premise interfaces into the cloud and serve as the authoritative technical gatekeeper for our SAP RISE environment.

You thrive in a collaborative setup where we value technical initiative, enterprise discipline, and a healthy work-life balance. While fluency in English is essential for our global stakeholder collaboration, we are looking for someone who is eager to act as the local anchor and actively engage with our team culture in Copenhagen.

What does your next challenge look like?

  • Competitive remuneration, including short term incentive bonus on all levels
  • Work/life balance: hybrid working, flex time, maternity/paternity/parental leave, 29 days of holiday + senior and flex days
  • Personal development: personalized development plans, large portfolio of learning solutions and many internal mobility opportunities, both locally and globally
  • Health and well-being: Health insurance, in-house canteen with many healthy options
