About Position

Are you passionate about IT and experienced in software development, operations management and people management.

Airbus is looking for a xxxx to join the Bangalore, India location.

The position will be leading the Operational Performance & Programmes activities in India which leads all the transversal key projects and programs in the Digital Infrastructure and Platform department. This team is also responsible to streamline the Demand Management process , Quality reviews and ensure relevant reporting to be done on time and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the streamlining of the Demand Management process (product) for all the PSLs in the department and help in implementing the process in tandem with the DRMs and PSL leaders.
  • Aim to establish a TCO approach for the department and always strive for continuous improvement of processes.
  • Be the mouthpiece of DI Governance team locally in India and be the Single Point of contact for all transversal activities locally run in India with the Head of DI in India.
  • Lead the team on day to day operational basis and drive continuous process improvement
  • Develop autonomy in the team and build accountability to deliver services with quality.
  • Ability to provide solutions, determine overall design direction and provide recommendations for complex issues
  • Awareness of the role of Digitalization in enabling the business objectives to be met


Qualification & Experience:

Graduate/Post Graduate with 6+ years of experience in service delivery, Process IT Operations Management with following criteria:

Expert level:

  • Leadership skills & Project and Operational Management.
  • Experience in setting-up & managing operations teams (Service Design, Transition, Operation).
  • Ability to develop, engage and motivate people.
  • Experience in building new teams and experience in defining the road maps of any project/product engagement
  • Service Delivery Management


Intermediate level:

  • Business process analysis experience
  • Understanding of the ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Service delivery architecture
  • Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
  • Professional Networking skills


Others:

  • Knowledge of Aerospace domain, especially in Communication and IT supplier management
  • Knowledge on Agile/ SAFe principle
  • Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
  • Professional Networking skills
  • Willingness to travel for long & short term to Europe
