Scope of Position:
Responsible and accountable to manage end-to-end Protégé Program of Airbus Malaysia, from sourcing, selecting, monitoring, training and exiting. Administer program effectiveness and participants’ performance/discipline. Be the interface to PROTEGE Secretariat of the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (MECD) for all PROTEGE matters.
To support selected ADS Malaysia ICP initiatives, engagements and operational activities as requested by ADS KAM Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, select and hire the best quality Protégé candidates as required by Hiring Managers.
- Work closely with other Hiring Managers to understand the Protégé participant requirements.
- Maintaining Protégé participants leaves records and generates a monthly allowance for payroll and claims processing.
- Plan and identify internal & external training for Protégé participants according to Protégé Program Framework.
- Coordinate internal & external training for the development of graduates based on Protégé Program Framework.
- Upkeep and update reports, web portal Protégé Program with Secretarial Government and local stakeholders including Government Ministries and Agencies.
- Monitor Protégé Program performance and highlight to the relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor, updates and record of initial & continuation program for audit purpose.
- Keep performance records of participants and present progress reports to Management.
- Support ADS ICP engagements and stakeholder meetings (internal and external), prepare meeting and meeting minutes and follow up actions.
- Support selected ADS ICP projects planning and execution in Malaysia.
- Monitor and report progress on selected ADS ICP projects to internal and external stakeholders
- Support to develop ideas for ADS ICP projects based on user requirements and ADS offerings.
- Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
- Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.
- Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company
Key Deliverables:
- To deliver the Program annual enrollment of 35 - 40 PROTEGE
- Positive internal and external stakeholders feedback on PROTEGE implementation
- Adhere to PROTEGE annual budget and ensure all allowances, expenses and invoices are recorded and issued according to the schedule
- Obtain at least 1 BLUE Code Letter from the MEDAC Secretariat

Qualification & Professional Skills:
- Minimum level of education : Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Equivalent
- 5 Years’ Experience in Experience in managing large human capital development, ICP programs and dealing with government entities/agencies would be considered as an advantage
- Experience in project management, stakeholder management, ICP, familiarity with engineering/technology
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia- spoken and written.
- Team player, able to work successfully as part of a team.
- Independent and resourceful.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills, leadership and autonomy.
- Passionate in People Development.
