We are now looking to recruit a Procurement Central Platform Controller for our GBS.

Context

The jobholder will be part of the Procurement Central Controlling team in charge of Suppliers non-recurring costs and recurring costs related to after-sales activities. The jobholder will be in charge of activities and data management (tools, data accuracy and circularity) related with building the financial consolidation of procurement and associated reporting.
He/She will interface with the different commodities and build the associated network and will also need to interface with internal financial stakeholders (within Controlling Procurement and Controlling Operations) and also external as Accounting and Controlling Program / Customer services to support data consolidation (specific after-sales activities for Customer Services).

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data on performance against budgets/targets highlighting discrepancies and risks & opportunities and propose/coordinate mitigation actions if needed to support discussions and decision making at Management level.
  • Manage complex financial data sets, financial tools, and create reports according to the needs of relevant operational and financial stakeholders.
  • Participate in and/or drive performance management and growth, through ad-hoc projects/initiatives fostering a Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Calculate/Plan/Monitor the hourly rate of defined operational perimeters.
  • Monitor/review/ensure proper financial approval for Purchase Orders relevant to his/her operational perimeter.
  • Monitor costs, request rebookings when necessary and ensure proper follow-up from the relevant organizations and teams.
  • Plan workforce according to targets & function strategy.
  • Ensure an accurate planning, reporting and consolidation of Costs by Nature and/or Costs by Destination.
  • Support / monitor circularity between Costs by nature and Costs by destination.
  • Support operational teams in the preparation and the optimization of each Capex project file regarding all financial aspects of the project (business case, comparison of options, costing).
  • Be accountable for the Planning for the operational perimeter in scope, including challenge loop and deep dives.
  • Ensure the adherence to the financial end-to-end process from the creation of a Capex file to the entry into service of the Capex.
  • Ensure communication and management of Capex financial master data (Booking codes and analytical structure...) and manage operational perimeter’s financial master data, requesting creation/modifications when deemed necessary.
  • Propose/coordinate mitigation actions if needed to support decision making at Management level.
  • Ensure a proper tracking of processes’ instructions and document activities accordingly, to protect business continuity


Requirements - Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A capacity to deliver recurring financial pictures with full accuracy on the data.
  • A capacity to understand the needs/expectations of a function while keeping the consistency with above level guidance and financial targets
  • Business Management education in Finance or other related tools
  • Relevant experience in Accounting/Controlling
  • Talent for agile, reliable and fast data management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset:
  • Deliverable-driven, able to work with short deadlines
  • Good analytical skills with an ability to switch from big picture to detailed view, and to give meaning to complex facts and figures
  • Problem-solver
  • Proactive in proposing improvement solutions to the business
  • Able to look at performance/sustainability on short/mid/long-term solutions
  • Communication skills are key, creating trustful relationships quickly in a remote work context and maintaining a broad network within Finance and the team.
  • Ethics and compliance adherence is a must, with a clear understanding of rules around data confidentiality (e.g., Procurement process, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc)
  • English is a must, knowledge of French / German / Spanish would be a plus
  • Full mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
