We are now looking for a Procurement Financial Controller for Customer Services to join our Airbus GBS in Lisbon!

Responsibilities - your mission
In the context of Controlling Procurement, Airbus is opening a position in the Airbus Global Business Services organization.

In Airbus Commercial, Procurement is responsible to manage the supplier contracts framing the necessary purchases for the Programme execution including the Customer Services Programme (S).
Due to the fast development of Customer Services, there is an increasing demand for financial support from the Procurement teams managing the contracts for Customer Services.

As part of the MFOP transformation project (ScaleUp), there is a dedicated workstream (WS7) to design what could be the optimal financial support for those Procurement activities.

The jobholder will be part of the central team in MFOP and will work in close collaboration with this dedicated transformation workstream (WS7). The progress of this workstream might influence the job content. In a first step, the jobholder will be in charge of the following tasks:
- provide visibility of the yearly spends for the different Procurement departments managing Customer Services contracts (this will require having a good understanding of the departments raising the purchase orders, the different tools...)
- maintain the commercial saving tracking as currently existing, in collaboration with Pxx departments, consolidation and communication towards Lead and MFBS. Implement the changes that could be decided within the workstream (WS7)
- support the buyers to build the business cases showing the impact of the ongoing commercial negotiations

Required skills:
- Rigor, structured approach, to provide solid financial info related to scattered businesses with rather short term predictability
- Agility with data management
- Creativity, flexibility as the job content might evolve with the workstream
- Communication skills, as the position will interface with many stakeholders in P and in S

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • Business Management education in Finance or other related fields
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting / Controlling
  • Talent for agile, reliable and fast data management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset:
  • Deliverable-driven, able to work with short deadlines

• Good analytical skills with an ability to switch from big picture to detailed view
• Problem-solver
• Proactive in proposing improvement solutions to the business
• Able to look at performance / sustainability on short-/mid-/long-term solutions

  • Communication skills are key, creating trustful relationships quickly in a remote work context and maintaining a broad network within the Finance and HR functions
  • Ethics and compliance adherence is a must, with a clear understanding of rules around data confidentiality (e.g., Procurement process, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc)
  • English is a must; knowledge of French / German / Spanish would be a plus
  • Full mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
